I gave you just a taste of our Spring Festival Camp in an earlier post, but there was oh so much more!
There were dumplings and dragons, lanterns and fireworks, kites and custard, and rice...yes, rice! Come along and see what all we did. And all while our teachers were on holiday, so HOW, do you ask, did we do THAT?? Volunteers, of course!! Our own dear Flick Savage from Brisbane planned, organized and ran (like a madwoman at times) this five day camp for 20 (and sometimes 35) kids. With the very able and very very generous assistance of Meeko, a Dartmouth student, and Melody, Maggie and Sean, expat teachers in Zhengzhou. On behalf of COAT, Eagles Wings and especially our kids...THANK YOU!!!
So without further ado...Spring Festival Camp 2012...Eagles Wings!
Making dumplings...
Eating dumplings!
Marching (or running or being pushed) in a lantern parade...
With races...
And fireworks!
